As of May 13, the Shenshuo Line under CHN Energy Baoshen Railway has safely operated 10,281 heavy-haul trains （10,000-ton and above） this year,  transporting over 94 million tons of cargo cumulatively, marking a significant contribution to national energy supply stability.

Leveraging its role as a critical energy transport corridor, Baoshen Railway has optimized the deployment of high-power Guoneng locomotives to enhance operational efficiency. The company has also expanded coal transport routes from Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia while strengthening coordination with stations along the line to alleviate logistical bottlenecks.

To address challenges posed by extreme weather such as sandstorms, the company intensified safety protocols and implemented specialized training programs to improve crews’ emergency response capabilities, ensuring uninterrupted heavy-haul train operations.
