On October 15, as a strong cold front brought significant temperature drops across northern China, CHN Energy Guoyuan Power leveraged its integrated coal-power advantage to strengthen fuel supply and equipment maintenance in heating areas, ensuring the safe and stable operation of district heating systems.

To secure reliable heating for residents, the company has adhered to the principle of addressing winter issues in summer. During the non-heating season, it organized special emergency drills, conducted comprehensive inspections and maintenance of pipelines, heat exchange stations and turbine extraction systems, and advanced smart upgrades for heating networks. The company also introduced innovative service mechanisms, expanded its Heating Steward program, strengthened emergency repair teams, opened a 24-hour hotline, and achieved unified dispatching and tiered regulation of heating networks through an intelligent heating management system.

Currently, the company’s heating systems are running smoothly, serving regions including Dalad Banner in Inner Mongolia and Hami in Xinjiang. Yili Power Plant began heating 15 days ahead of schedule, adding 1.2 million square meters of new heating capacity. Hami Coal Power Company officially launched its residential heating service on October 12. Meanwhile, construction of the Baoqing Power Plant heating project is progressing rapidly. Once completed, it will add 3 million square meters of heating capacity, meeting the heating needs of 7.2 million square meters in Baoqing County.
